L’Aleaugust Cru was created in 2012 from a cooperation between Augusto Zuffa and Alessandro Marchionni. The chef Alessandro, who is active throughout Italy, was looking for a wine with soft and delicate characteristics, with tobacco and pink pepper notes, to serve to his guests at banquets. Therefore Alessandro (“Ale”) and Augusto (“August”) got together to develop a new wine – a marriage between food and wine of great success, so much so that “L’Aleaugust Cru” has become the bestseller both in Italy, and internationally.
Production method
Fermented in stainless steel tanks and then aged for 24 months in ‘Allier Forests’ oak barrels.
